Three of our board members and 2 of our member credit unions attended the ACE Conference in Chester last weekend. Both of our member credit unions were also there to facilitate presentations on Consumer Duty and Sharia Compliance in Credit Unions , which went down extremely well.
There was also some other great speakers and facilitators including the Illegal Money Lending Team, the regulators (PRA, FCA and FSCS), the Money and Pension Service and Fair4All Finance. The workshops included How to identify a credit union in distress, Combatting Fraudulent Activity, Dealing with IVA’s and Trust Deeds. We would like to offer our thanks to ACE for the invitation to us and our members and for the great welcome and friendship offered.
